RSDSA to Hold International Update On CRPS in San
Diego
The Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome Association (RSDSA) of America,
RSDSA of California, and Geisinger Helath System will conduct
an international update on CRPS at the Hilton San Diego
Airport/Harbor Island Hotel on September 11, 2004. This CME-accredited
conference is targeted to pain practitioners, nurses, physician
assistants, internists, pediatricians, physician therapists,
and others who are on the "front line" in diagnosing
this syndrome.
"This is the first conference RSDSA has held on the
west coast, and we are excited about reaching a new geographic
audience. This program will include case presentations by
leading physicians followed by small breakout sessions, which
will permit healthcare professionals to explore all aspects
of RSD/CRPS and to interact both formally and informally with
faculty and patients," says Jim Broatch, executive director
of RSDSA.
The program co-directors are Srinivasa N. Raja, MD, Director
of Pain Research, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine
in Baltimore, and Joshua P. Prager, MD, MS, Director of UCLA
Pain Medicine Center, University of California Los Angeles.
The registration fee of $150 before August 1 and $175 after
includes program, syllabus, continental breakfast and lunch.
Patients (non CME credit) may register for $75 for the first
registration and additional family members pay $50 each.
