Disaster
Resources for People with Disabilities and Emergency Managers
We understand that many of the people who are displaced
by the aftermath of hurricane Katrina do not have access
to the Internet. If you have friends or relatives with
CRPS who need medication, we suggest you pass on
the following information from the American Red Cross:
1. People in a shelter must register their health needs,
including any medications they take. After registration,
they should go to the health services area.
2. People who are not currently in a shelter should go to
one. Another option is to find an "urgent care"
facility or an emergency room.
