Taking Charge of Pain
From the CT Pain Foundation
CT Pain wants to invite you to an amazing pain event entitled Taking Charge of Pain. Taking Charge of Pain is a national, grassroots public awareness, community education and patient mobilization program that provides a better understanding of pain treatments, and empowers patients to know their options and rights when seeking care. It was developed by the Global Healthy Living Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, working to improve the quality of life for people with chronic diseases.
On Sunday, June 5, Taking Charge of Pain will host an event in Boston to provide a better understanding of pain, treatments available for pain, and options and rights when seeking care to the local community. It is free, open to the public, and will include a free light meal.
The American Pain Foundation along with CT Pain will be attending this helpful and informative event. We invite each of you to come and support Taking Charge of Pain. Since we want to make sure all who want to attend can attend, CT Pain is offering to bus anyone from Stratford, Connecticut to Boston. Paul Gileno, founder of CT Pain, will also be on the bus with you. If interested in attending, and taking bus please contact CT Pain at ctpainfoundation@gmail.com by June 2.
